Alexandra Akinyi Ochieng is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and an Associate at the firm whose practice reflects a blend of legal precision, unwavering integrity, and intellectual depth. With a focus on Litigation, Shariah law, Commercial and Conveyancing Law, she approaches each brief with deliberate strategy and a refined understanding of the law’s transformative potential.
Alexandra holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi and a Postgraduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. She brings a sharp legal mind and a deep commitment to justice, with a particular focus on advocating for equitable and efficient legal solutions. Her approach blends strategic thinking with a strong ethical foundation, shaped by hands-on experience across diverse legal environments.
Alexandra honed her expertise at two distinguished law firms where she navigated a variety of complex legal matters and excellence, poise, and thoughtful advocacy. Additionally, she gained extensive exposure to both contentious and non-contentious legal matters. At her current role, she continues to distinguish herself through her attention to detail, articulate legal drafting, analytical rigor and capacity to offer clarity in the face of legal ambiguity.

Alexandra is also a published legal scholar whose work interrogates and reimagines justice through innovation. Her co-authored article, “Facilitating Access to Justice through Online Dispute Resolution in Kenya,” earned her recognition as a winner of the prestigious Dr. Kariuki Muigua Annual ADR Essay Award 2021 and was published in Volume 10 Issue 1(2022) of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration (CIArb) Kenya Journal. Her subsequent solo piece, “Reforming Virtual Court Sessions in Kenya to Ensure Access to Justice: Addressing the Challenges,” was featured in Volume 11 Issue 4(2023) of the same journal. These contributions reflect her passion for using legal reform , innovation and technology to create more inclusive and accessible justice systems.
